The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, in Ekiti state, Biodun Oyebanji, has won a landslide victory in Saturday’s gubernatorial election.

Oyebanji, former Secretary to the State Government SSG to outgoing governor Kayode Fayemi, won 15 out of the state’s 16 council areas.

Peoples Democratic Party candidate who was the party’s erstwhile state Chairman, Chief Bisi kolawole won only his Efon Alaye council area.

Former governor of the state and the candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Chief Segun Ojo who did not win any council evenlost in his ldo-Osi council area to the ruling APC. He only recorded a win in his unit and ward.
