Premier League great, Andy Cole has made a bold claim about Sadio Mané following his exit from Liverpool.

Mané, who was crowned as Africa’s Footballer of the Year, swapped Liverpool for Bayern Munich, ending his six-trophy-laden years at Anfield The Senegalese international, who cited his need for a ‘new challenge’ as reason behind his Bayern move, has got off to a perfect start to life with the Bavarians.

Ex-Manchester United striker Andy Cole insists Sadio Mané will be missed at Liverpool. Mané ended his six-storied seasons with Liverpool this summer following his £35.1 million move to Bayern Munich. The 30-year-old Senegalese international has hit the ground running at Bayern, scoring a goal in the club’s triumph in the German Super Cup while getting his name on the scoresheet on his Bundesliga debut.
Mané’s departure, Liverpool appears to have moved on swiftly and filled the void left by Mané with the acquisition of Uruguayan attacking sensation, Darwin Nunez.
The ex-Benfica marksman – Mané’s replacement – has had a purple-patch start to life at Anfield scoring in two successive games for the Reds. However, Andy Cole, who scored 187 goals in the Premier League, believes Sadio Mane’s exit will be felt at Anfield.

“They’ve spent a lot of money on Nunez,” Cole said on The DAZN Soccer Show via Liverpool Echo. “I genuinely do believe Liverpool will miss Mané. ”I think he’s been absolutely phenomenal. They’re missing what he gives them so [Nunez] has got to come and try and replace that.” Sadio Mané explains reason behind his Liverpool exit Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Sadio Mane is feeling very excited after completing his move to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in a deal worth £35.1m.

Mane has now disclosed he immediately saw himself playing for Bayern Munich immediately his agent told him of the Bavarians’ interest in signing him this summer.
