Paris, September 22, 2025 — Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé has been crowned the winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or, football’s most prestigious individual honour, at a glittering ceremony held in Paris on Monday night.
The 28-year-old French international capped off a remarkable 2024/25 campaign, scoring 35 goals and registering 16 assists across all competitions. His contributions were pivotal to PSG’s historic season, which saw the club clinch its first-ever UEFA Champions League title, alongside the Ligue 1 crown and the Coupe de France.
Dembélé edged out Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal and several other world-class contenders to secure the award, cementing his place among football’s elite.
The victory represents the high point of Dembélé’s career, which has been defined by resilience after battling years of injuries and setbacks.
