Paris, September 22, 2025 — Arsenal Women have been named the 2025 Women’s Club of the Year at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, cementing their place among Europe’s elite after a landmark season.
The North London side claimed their second UEFA Women’s Champions League title in June, edging Barcelona 1-0 in the final in Lisbon thanks to a decisive strike from Swedish forward Stina Blackstenius.
Domestically, the Gunners maintained their strong form, finishing second in the Women’s Super League and advancing to the semi-finals of the League Cup.
The Ballon d’Or Women’s Club of the Year award goes beyond silverware, recognising Arsenal’s wider contributions to the women’s game through youth development, global recognition, and fan engagement.
Football analysts hailed the award as a fitting reward for the Gunners’ steady rise back to the summit of European football, while supporters celebrated the recognition of a team whose performances have inspired a new generation of players and fans worldwide.
