In a deeply spiritual gathering, members of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) recently concluded a three-day spiritual revival at its Prayer Mountain located at Agodo, Egbe Ikotun in Lagos. The event, which drew crowds of worshippers from across Nigeria, served as a profound opportunity for believers to seek revival and restoration in their faith.
Despite its primary focus on Nigerian attendees, the spiritual fervor of the event attracted foreign visitors as well, who joined in the somber penitence and fervent prayers. The program, characterized by marathon prayers and fasting, continued through the nights as directed by the Holy Spirit for those participating.
During the three-day event, the SCOAN Prayer Mountain transformed into a modern-day “Wailing Wall,” reminiscent of the sacred site in Jerusalem where faithful adherents pray around the clock. Enthusiastic worshippers engaged in various forms of spiritual expression, including walking, crying, rolling, and moving around the mountain, creating an atmosphere conducive for pouring out their hearts and supplications to God.
Pastor Evelyn Joshua, the leader of SCOAN, welcomed and congratulated the participants, affirming that their presence at the mountain was in obedience to God’s command for revival. She assured them that their presence had been acknowledged in heaven, declaring that their petitions were granted and their cases settled.
The program included moments of singing and dancing daily, as worshippers praised and glorified the name of the Lord. Many attendees experienced deliverance, healing, and shared outstanding testimonies of God’s intervention in their lives.
An essential component of the event was a rigorous biblical teaching session on the theme of obedience to God. The biblical story of the prophet Jonah was dissected, emphasizing the importance of obeying God’s instructions unconditionally, as one cannot hide from Him.
As the revival came to a close, worshippers joyously left the mountain, singing and praising the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and T.B. Joshua for His marvelous deeds in their lives. The event served to rejuvenate and invigorate SCOAN’s spiritual slogan, ‘Emmanuel,’ as attendees witnessed demonstrations of God’s raw power on the mountain.
Undoubtedly, the revival at SCOAN’s Prayer Mountain has left worshippers spiritually refreshed and strengthened, reaffirming their belief that God is truly with them as they continue their journey of faith.
