In his Independence broadcast to the nation on Friday, the President has hinted that a serving member of the National Assembly is a financier of the separatists movement in Nigeria.
Recall that Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the IPOB; and Sunday Igboho of the Yoruba nation movements have been arrested.
While Igboho is been prosecuted in neighboring Benin Republic, Nnamdi Kanu is incarcerated in Nigeria.The president’s assertion reveals high-profile financiers including the lawmaker.
