APC executive members in Onigbongbo LGA met with the Executive Chairman, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, at the Council Secretariat.
The Executive members who were led by the LGA Party Chairperson, Alhaja Akerele, commenced with brief introductions. She expressed gratitude to everyone in attendance and extended appreciation to the Executive Chairman for his unwavering support.
She particularly commended him for his swift response to welfare concerns, especially the recent increment in monthly stipends for party executives. She also raised concerns about the structural condition of the party secretariat and appealed for renovation.
In his remarks, Mr. Chinedu Ogbenna joined in appreciating the Chairman’s welfare support, while the LGA Party Secretary, Hon. Camil, highlighted the need for clerical support and office equipment to enhance administrative work at the party secretariat.
Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo presented a printer to aid the smooth running of the secretariat. He assured the executives of his continued support, inclusivity and collective responsibility.
“I strongly believe everyone should be carried along. Part of my agenda is to improve on your monthly stipends and to remodel the party secretariat because that is the home that houses all elected individuals under this party,” the Chairman said.
He further encouraged unity among party members. He concluded by reminding the executives of the importance of working together as the next election approaches.
