The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), has called on residents to embrace unity, peace and collective responsibility as the council welcomes the month of November.

In his new month message to the people of Ejigbo LCDA, the chairman urged residents to remain focused on the shared vision of building a more prosperous and developed community.
Taiwo said his administration remained committed to translating its development agenda into tangible results through infrastructure development, improved public services and community-focused initiatives.

He highlighted ongoing efforts, including road rehabilitation, the installation of over 500 solar-powered streetlights under the Light Up Ejigbo initiative and sustained environmental sanitation efforts, alongside other projects under the administration’s SHIEELD Agenda.

The chairman also reaffirmed Ejigbo’s commitment to the political development of Lagos State, following his participation in the KOH Manifesto and Campaign Theme Launch, ÌLÉRÍ ÈKÓ, held at the National Theatre, Lagos.
According to him, the event provided an opportunity for political leaders, stakeholders and party faithful to demonstrate their commitment to the collective vision of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 elections.

He noted that Ejigbo must continue to play an active role in the political process and remain adequately represented in decisions shaping the future of Lagos State.
Taiwo further emphasised the importance of sustaining the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, through continuity, consolidation and collective responsibility.
He called on residents to set aside their differences and work together towards a common goal, stressing that the progress of Ejigbo depends on the cooperation and commitment of all stakeholders.

The council chairman expressed optimism that the new month would bring renewed opportunities for development, greater unity and improved living conditions for residents.
He concluded by wishing the people of Ejigbo a peaceful and productive November, reiterating his administration’s commitment to ensuring that development reaches every community.
“Let us continue to work together for a more prosperous Ejigbo. One vision, one purpose, one united Ejigbo,” he said.
