October 16, 2025 the President and members of the Customary Court of Agboyi-Ketu made a courtesy visit to the office of the Executive Chairman; Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar. Members of the Council’s Judiciary that made this all-important legal visit to the office of the Chairman include:
- Mr. Adeleke Adedoyin; President
- Mr. Victor Akindehin; Member
- Mrs. Sade Olukayode; Member
- Mr. Olutunde Oyinlade; Member
- Mr. Sikiru Banjo; Member
It was a courtesy call from the leaders of the Agboyi-Ketu Customary Court to the Executive Chairman. The President of the Customary Court expressed felicitations of the Local Council’s Judiciary with Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar, congratulating her on her outstandingly successful elections and the great work she has already begun to do at Agboyi-Ketu LCDA. Mr. Adedoyin and his members of the Customary bench are in tune with the new lease of life at Agboyi-Ketu and have come to encourage the Chairman to execute her plans to take Agboyi-Ketu to greater heights!
He closed his remarks with asking the Chairman to assist the Customary Court in matters of upgrading and maintenance of the Court premises.
In her response, the Executive Chairman thanked the honourable members of the body that make up the Judiciary arm of her Government for their courtesy visit and goodwill message. She responded to their needs by requesting the Council Engineer to immediately embark on a reconnaissance survey of the Court’s premises and bring her reports on what must be done to put the court in good shape and provide conducive office environments for the Council’s Judiciary.
She commended them for their excellent services to the people of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA and assured them that working in dilapidated buildings is not what she wants for the honourable men and women of the bench. She also appreciated them for their perseverance and even in this courtesy visit, they did not put their needs first. Their felicitations and message of congratulations is well received and appreciated!
