The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, alongside the Council Head of Legal, Mr. Tunde Oshodi Esq., paid a courtesy visit to Mrs. Funmi Odutayo,
Zonal Director for Southwest,
Legal Aid Council.
The visit was aimed at establishing a stronger working relationship towards providing quality legal representation for indigenes and residents of Onigbongbo community, especially those in dire need of legal assistance but unable to afford it.

In her remarks, Mrs. Funmi Odutayo expressed her gratitude to the Chairman for the visit and commended his interest in promoting justice and community welfare. “When we see politicians and government officials showing interest in ensuring justice for the people, it is very commendable. Our mission at the Legal Aid Council is to bring justice to the doorstep of every citizen, ensuring affordability and accessibility, because justice is not a privilege but a right,” she noted.
She further emphasized the importance of collaboration to strengthen the reach of Legal Aid Council’s services within Onigbongbo community.

During the discussions, a few requests were made regarding the swift commencement of legal representation and the establishment of a Legal Aid Clinic in Onigbongbo.
In his response, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo assured the Council of his unwavering commitment to the cause and ensuring timely and unhindered access to justice in Onigbongbo.
