Nigeria’s Independent Electoral Commission INEC has just declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC as the winner of Nigeria’s Presidential Election of February 25, 2023.
In announcing Tinubu as winner a few minutes ago in Abuja, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, INEC Chairman said Tinubu polled 8,794, 726 votes to beat his closest rivals Atiku Abubakar of the PDP and Peter Obi of LP to second and third positions.
The President elect and his Deputy, Kashim Shettima have been invited by Prof. Yakubu to collect their certificates of return later today at 3pm Nigerian time.
