Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as “a man of history with many golden chapters.”
In a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, the governor praised Tinubu as a genuine lover of the people, a pathfinder, and a selfless leader committed to Nigeria’s sustainable development.
Oyebanji commended the President for his lifelong dedication to the defence of democracy and service to the nation, noting that his contributions across different spheres have come with significant personal sacrifice.
He described Tinubu as an accomplished professional and political figure whose influence spans the corporate world, pro-democracy activism, and governance. According to him, the President played a leading role in the struggle for the restoration of democratic rule in Nigeria.
The governor further characterised Tinubu as a national asset whose impact remains evident at both subnational and national levels, citing his roles as a senator during the Third Republic, two-term governor of Lagos State, and now President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
Oyebanji added that the people of Ekiti State remain appreciative of the President’s support and the positive impact of his policies on the state.
He wished Tinubu continued good health and many more years of service to the nation, expressing hope that God would continue to guide his leadership as he steers the country toward greater prosperity.
