The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, today, received the Commander of the 9 Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General A.O. Owolabi, on a courtesy and familiarization visit to the Council Secretariat.

The visit, which underscores the enduring partnership between the Nigerian Army and Onigbongbo LCDA, provided an opportunity for both leaders to reaffirm their shared commitment to maintaining peace, security, and stability within the community.

In his remarks, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo warmly welcomed the Brigade Commander and expressed his appreciation for the friendly visit. He also commended the efforts and cooperation of the Commander’s predecessor, Brigadier General O.M. Oyekola, acknowledging his contributions to strengthening the existing relationship between the Brigade and the Council.

Speaking during the visit, Brig. Gen. A.O. Owolabi stated that his presence at the Council was part of his familiarization tour following his assumption of office. He emphasized his resolve to sustain and further strengthen the already established partnership between the 9 Brigade and Onigbongbo LCDA.
The Brigade Commander assured the Chairman that the Brigade remains fully committed to supporting the Council in its efforts to ensure safety and security. He stressed that the 9 Brigade is always at the service of the Chairman and the Council whenever the need arises.
In his response, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo expressed deep appreciation for the continued support of the Brigade and assured the Commander that Onigbongbo LCDA stands ready to support the Nigerian Army in any capacity necessary to advance their shared objectives
