As the forthcoming Lagos Ikeja City Award gathers momentum, organizers have announced Mr. Olamilekan Adelana as the Chairman of the epochal event. The award program me is billed to hold on Sunday, 8th December, 2019.

Contrary to the normal ritual of giving awards, there will be a seminar like discourse that will focus on housing; one of the major problems being faced by Lagosians.

To make it unique, Hon. Toke Benson Awoyinka Special Adviser to Executive Governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu on housing will be the guest speaker, stakeholders in Real Estate and Housing range from individuals and Government experts will be there to educate and enlighten people.

The theme for this year edition; REAL ESTATE BUSINESS IDENTIFYING KEY STAKEHOLDERS: How Can Government Be Involved, is basically to educate participants on Housing and its rudiments.

According to the Convener ; Sola Olugbemiro, “Aims and objectives of an award ceremony shouldn’t be basically profit making. Avenue should be created to educate participants and let them gain one or two things. This is the reason why we bring in this new concept.

However top on the list of distinguished personalities to witness the 2019 edition of Lagos Ikeja City Award are; His Excellency, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Executive Governor of Lagos State who is the Host. Hon. Francis Babatunde Oke, Chairman, Onigbongbo LCDA Co-host, Hon. Moruf Akindero Fatai, Commissioner for Housing Lagos State, Special guests of honor.

Undisputable big player in haulage business and reknown philanthropist, Mr. Olamilekan Adelana, CEO Zenith Carex Int’l Ltd, is chosen as the Chairman of the event. He will also been picking the award of Outstanding Philanthropist of The Year.

Mr. Julius Oyedemi, MD, PWAN Plus, will also function on the day as the Key Note Speaker.
