Sometimes, we pray and feel unheard, yet unanswered prayer does not mean God has abandoned us; even the faithful like Job and Prophet Ayyub waited through silence before restoration came. Prayers can be hindered by bitterness, injustice, or insincere love because how we treat one another, especially in marriage, reflects our devotion to God. In this fasting season, whether during Lent or Ramadan, let us fast from pride and anger, love genuinely, forgive quickly, and trust that God answers in His perfect time.
