A throng of viewers around the world are reportedly protesting what they call an erroneous suspension of the ultra popular Emmanuel TV from the YouTube Channel.

The news first broke after the SCOAN-owned evangelical TV channel announced the surprise suspension. Since then millions around the world have risen in defence of the TV Station whose programming have always been peaceful and based on solid Christian doctrine devoid of negative content.

A statement from the T.B. Joshua Ministries, owner of Emmanuel TV has also decried the YouTube Channel Suspension. In the statement, the church said:

“Emmanuel TV’s mission is to share the love of God with everyone – irrespective of race or religion – and we strongly oppose all forms of hate speech! We have had a long and fruitful relationship with YouTube and believe this decision was made in haste. We appreciate your prayers and support as we are making every effort to appeal this decision and see the channel restored.”

Meanwhile The Lagosian learnt that YouTube is already being bombarded with tons of request for the restoration of the channel on TV by viewers around the world who are the beneficiaries of the great and edifying programming from Emmanuel TV.
