University of Lagos Consultancy Services (Unilag Consult Ltd.) in conjunction with Sola Ojewusi and Associates has published a book titled, ” Leadership Chronicles of Governor Duoye Diri” in honour of His Excellency, Senator Duoye Diri, the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State.
At a Press Conference held on Wednesday, 8th October, 2025 at the Unilag Consult Conference Hall,, the Managing Director of the Consult, Professor John Lekan Oyefara (FNASA JP), made it known that the attempt is to “celebrate and institionalise the leadership ethos and accomplishments of Governor Diri, a man whose governance style exemplifies vision, inclusiveness and integrity.”
He stated further that the book will be presented to the public on Wednesday, 6th November, 2025 at the J.F. Ade Ajayi Auditorium, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State.
“The historic occasion will also coincide with an International Public Lecture and the launch of a Professorial Chair on Leadership and Good Governance,” he said.
Also speaking at the event is the editor of the book, Professor Hope Eghagha, who revealed that the book focuses on Governor Duoye Diri ‘s relationship with the Good people of Bayelsa state and developmental strides in all sectors. Eghagha used the occasion to call on all meaningful individuals to endow a chair in the University for the benefits of humanity.
The consultant to Unilag Consult on the publication of the book, Sola Ojewusi, explained that
this is the second time the Consult would be celebrating the remarkable achievements of an exemplary Nigerian leader. According to him, the first Nigerian to be honored in the Consult’s Book Series Project is Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State. How he contained the spread of the deadly Covid19 virus was documented in the book, “The Incident Commander.”
Oyefara invited the media and the general public to join the university in celebrating another outstanding Nigerian on 6th November, 2025.
