Immediate past Special Adviser to Ondo State Governor on Energy, Engr. Tunji Light Ariyomo will on Thursday be the Guest Speaker at a Lecture in FUTA, Akure marking the 2021 World Engineering Day Celebrations.
The lecture, titled “Engineering for a Healthy Planet” is being organized by the Akure Branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers in association with the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Ariyomo is billed to speak on the topic, “Re-Envisioning the National Electricity Engagement Strategy”. The second lecture of the day titled “Acquisition, Funding and Management of Technology for Sustainable Development” will be delivered by Engr. Professor Oba Akinola Adebisi.
Other eminent personalities billed to grace the event include the President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engr. Babagana Mohammed, the Vice Chancellor of FUTA, Professor Joseph Adéá»lá Fuwape as Special Guest of Honour, Engr. Ezekiel O. Oloruntola, Chairman, NSE Akure Branch and Professor M.A. AkÃntúndé, Dean of Engineering and Engineering Technology, FUTA who is the Chief Host.
The event is expected to start at 11 am at the T.I. Francis Auditorium, Obanla, FUTA Campus.
