The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, has received the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of X3M Ideas, Mr. Steve Babaeko, and his delegation on a courtesy visit to the Council. The leading media company donated critical security equipment to support the operations of the Onigbongbo LCDA Security Marshal (OLSM).

The donation, which further underscores the growing confidence of the private sector in the Adebanjo administration, includes 50 walkie-talkies, 25 iron handcuffs and 39 rubber handcuffs, aimed at strengthening communication, coordination and operational efficiency among members of the Security Marshal.

Receiving the delegation, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo expressed profound appreciation to X3M Ideas for the intervention, describing the gesture as a significant contribution to the administration’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding lives and property across the LCDA.
The Chairman reiterated that the establishment of the Onigbongbo LCDA Security Marshal (OLSM) was a deliberate and strategic intervention designed to complement existing security agencies, meaningfully engage young people and strengthen community-based security across the LCDA.

He disclosed that members of the Marshal have recently undergone security training in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including the Nigeria Police Force, as part of efforts to ensure professionalism, discipline and operational effectiveness.
Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo commended X3M Ideas for identifying with the Council’s security vision, noting that the partnership represents the kind of private sector collaboration required to accelerate sustainable community development.
According to him, security remains a collective responsibility, and the government will continue to create opportunities for responsible corporate organisations and individuals to contribute meaningfully to the development and wellbeing of residents.

Speaking during the visit, the Managing Director/CEO of X3M Ideas, Mr. Steve Babaeko, commended Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo for what he described as visionary, refreshing and people-focused leadership.
He particularly praised the Chairman’s proactive approach to governance and his ability to build meaningful relationships with the private sector in advancing community development.
Babaeko noted that X3M Ideas’ decision to support the OLSM was inspired by the Chairman’s demonstrated commitment to accountability, security and the overall development of Onigbongbo LCDA.
He reaffirmed the company’s readiness to continue supporting initiatives that promote safety and development within the community, stressing that the task of building secure and prosperous communities cannot be left to government alone.
The visit and donation further reinforce the growing culture of public-private collaboration being championed by the Hon.
