Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the Lagos State governorship election.
He scored 739,445 votes after winning winning in all the local government areas in the state. His major opponent, Mr. Jimi Agbaje of the PDP, polled 206,141 votes, according to official results declared by the electoral commission, INEC. The APC and PDP votes had a margin of 533,304 .
