Born 60 years to the family of the Damijos, the trained Thespian and lawyer, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) is a man who keeps reinventing his classical wits, waxing his ingenuity in a fine blend of acuity and impeccable articulation. One of the pioneers to the much-celebrated Nollywood (the Nigerian Film industry), RMD is a known name in the Nigerian Entertainment industry.

He was at a time the Commissioner of Tourism and Culture in his home state, Delta during the tenure of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan. Keeping fit at 60, his youngish look is slightly betrayed by his copious grey beards. Married to Jumoke and the union blessed with children, RMD took time out to celebrate his birthday at a lavish birthday party.

In an earlier post on July 6, 2021, the iconic actor took to his social media handle to thank God for sparing his life and helping him break the ”death specter in his family. At a lavish birthday party later in the day, the renowned movie star in the company of his wife and children treated his colleagues, fans, friends and well-wishers to an exquisite birthday party.
