Qatar Airways has temporarily suspended all flights to and from Doha following the closure of Qatari airspace.
The airline announced the development in a statement on Saturday, confirming that operations were halted due to the airspace restriction. It said it is working closely with government stakeholders and relevant authorities to assist passengers affected by the disruption.
The carrier assured travellers that flight operations would resume once the airspace is reopened but warned that delays are likely across its network when services recommence.
To ease the impact of the suspension, Qatar Airways said it has deployed additional ground staff at Hamad International Airport and other major airports to support impacted passengers.
The airline emphasised that the safety of its passengers and employees remains its highest priority and apologised for the inconvenience caused by the disruption.
Passengers were advised to monitor updates through the airline’s official website, mobile application and X social media channel for further information.
