Popular Juju Highlife Music Crooner Yinka Best who just returned from the UK after a year vacation exposes the filths and ills of Nigerians Living Abroad in his latest musical work titled Omo British .
Unlike Nigeria where men seem to have total control and dominance over the females due to cultural believes and the structure of the system, It Is a different ball game in the Uk as the system favours and protects the female rights more.
The song Omo British by Yinka Best Exposes how men are unfairly treated and taken advantage of.
He describes London Babes as Egbe Kiloko O se which means Wetin Husband fit do us while he calls the men Gbewudani a yoruba appellation given to men who don’t have any control over their home.
In another stanza of the song he painfully expresses shock and disgust on how married women with effontery brings male lovers to their matrimonial homes thereby turning their husband to puppet on strings
This song which is a reminiscence of Feso Jaiye by Veteran Highlife Musician Adeolu Akinsanya is obviously a brutal reality of the lives of Nigerians Living Abroad.
