The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, today received the Executive Secretary of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA) Mrs Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade, and her team in a strategic meeting aimed at youth development and leadership empowerment.
During the meeting, the Executive Secretary of LJLA presented the YOU LEAD Leadership Programme, a comprehensive initiative designed to equip youths in Onigbongbo with essential leadership skills and practical competencies. The programme will focus on core values, future-of-work skills, youth civic engagement, CPR certification, and other capacity-building modules which are targeted at preparing young people for responsible leadership and active citizenship.
Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo commended the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy for the innovative and forward-thinking initiative. He expressed appreciation for the visit and affirmed the readiness of the Onigbongbo LCDA to fully partner with the Academy to ensure the successful implementation of the programme for the benefit of youths across the community.
The Executive Secretary of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy, in turn, thanked the Executive Chairman for his support and commitment and noted that the YOU LEAD Leadership Programme would provide valuable learning opportunities for the youths of Onigbongbo and contribute meaningfully to their personal and civic development
