Yinka Odumakin, Spokesman of Afenifere, the pan-Yoruba socio-political group, has died of complications from COVID-19.
The popular activist and pro-democracy champion had reportedly been on ventilator at a treatment centre in Lagos prior to his sad demise.
His case was said to have worsened during last week.
