A large fire broke out in Qatar on Saturday morning in sight of a fan village
Authorities said a building under construction in the city of Lusail was ablaze
Civil Defence controlled the blaze and confirmed there were no reported injuries.
“The Civil Defence controls a fire at a building under construction in Qetaifan Island, without casualties,” the Qatari Ministry of Interior tweeted.
The scene of the fire is less than 4km from Lusail Stadium, which is set to host Argentina and Mexico at 7pm UK time on Saturday.
