It may seem that dishonesty or mischief brings quick rewards, shortcuts to success, influence, or pleasure. But beneath the surface lies destruction,division, and regret.
* In marriages, it breeds mistrust when a spouse is deceitful or manipulative. The sacred bond of love and transparency is broken.
* In relationships, rascality replaces sincerity with selfishness. People begin to use other instead of love them.
* In communities, it creates corruption and chaos. A society where everyone tries to outsmart one another can not progress.
Let us choose today to walk in truth and sincerity. Let’s reject rascality in every form. Deceit, manipulation, or hypocrisy, and embrace a life that glorifies God.
