According to sources, the foremost Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho is still in the custody of the Benin security forces. It was reported earlier this week that Sunday Igboho was arrested alongside his German wife, Ropo, at Cardinal Bernardin International Airport, Cotonou on their way to Germany.

Our sources confirmed that renowned activist and his hubby faced a court in Benin Republic in the early hours of the day with the session lasting for hours. It was affirmed that Sunday’s wife was released while he(Sunday) still remains in the detention.

Sources say he would be re-arraigned before the courts on July 21, 2021.
