President Buhari, while speaking to news agents after casting his vote, said he will congratulate himself because he will be the winner of the elections.
When asked, “If you lose this election, will you accept defeat and congratulate the winner and hand over power to the next government?”
He replied, “I will congratulate myself, i am going to be the winner. Thank you very much.”
He said same in response to the BBC Hausa correspondent who asked the same question in Hausa.
