The biblical call for husbands to love their wives and for wives to submit to their husbands is not about control or inequality, but about divine order, mutual respect, and selfless commitment. “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her” (Ephesians 5:25), and “Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord” (Ephesians 5:22), reminding us that each role is rooted in sacrifice, honor, and love. When each person faithfully plays their God-given role with humility, responsibility, and grace. Marriage becomes a reflection of Christ’s relationship with the Church, fostering unity, peace, and purpose, and showing that true strength in life comes from obedience, service, and walking in God’s design.
