In furtherance to the administration’s commitment to inclusive education, the Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, distributed free General Certificate of Education (GCE) forms to indigent and academically deserving students across the LCDA today at the council secretariat.

The initiative, implemented under the administration’s FINE Agenda, aims to remove financial barriers that may prevent qualified students from registering for the GCE and accessing opportunities to further their academic pursuits.
Speaking on the initiative, the Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s belief that education remains the bedrock of sustainable development and a powerful tool for transforming the lives of young people. He emphasized that no deserving student should be denied the opportunity to pursue academic excellence simply because of financial constraints.

Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo noted that the distribution of free GCE forms is part of his administration’s broader commitment to investing in people and creating an enabling environment in which young residents can develop their potential, pursue their aspirations, and contribute meaningfully to society.

The intervention further underscores the administration’s “Invest in People” pillar under the FINE Agenda, demonstrating a deliberate effort to support students and promote equal access to educational opportunities within Onigbongbo LCDA.
The beneficiaries expressed profound appreciation to the Chairman for the timely intervention, describing the gesture as a significant relief that has renewed their hope and strengthened their determination to remain focused on achieving academic excellence.
They commended Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo for prioritising education and the welfare of young people, while expressing optimism that the initiative would continue to open doors of opportunity for more deserving students across the LCDA.
