The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, in a bid to champion creative empowerment in Onigbongbo LCDA, received a high powered delegation from Broadway Movie Academy.

The delegation was led by renowned filmmaker and media consultant Samuel ‘Bigsam’ Olatunji, and included respected Nollywood icons Bimbo Akintola, Head of Acting Faculty at the academy, and Faithia Williams, who delivers masterclasses to emerging talents. Their presence reflected the seriousness and credibility of the proposed collaboration.

At the heart of the meeting was a strategic partnership designed to equip young people in Onigbongbo with professional training in Acting, Directing, Screenwriting, Cinematography, Content Creation, and Film Producing. The initiative is tailored to unlock raw talent within the LCDA and position beneficiaries for relevance and global competitiveness in Nigeria’s fast expanding creative economy.
Speaking during the engagement, Bigsam emphasized that Broadway Movie Academy is not just a film school but a structured pipeline for discovering, refining, and projecting talents into the mainstream industry. He noted that the partnership would offer practical, hands on training, direct mentorship from industry leaders, and exposure to global best practices.
In his response, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo commended the Academy for identifying Onigbongbo as fertile ground for creative excellence. He reaffirmed that youth empowerment remains central to his administration’s development blueprint, stressing that the creative industry is one of the strongest vehicles for economic inclusion, job creation, and social transformation.
The Chairman made it clear that his leadership philosophy is rooted in sustainable impact. Rather than temporary relief measures, his focus is on equipping young people with tangible, income generating skills that will secure their independence and future prosperity.

Bimbo Akintola and Faithia Williams both applauded the Chairman’s forward thinking approach, describing him as a leader willing to take the more demanding but transformative path of teaching young people how to build capacity for themselves rather than offering short term solutions.
With this engagement, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo continues to position Onigbongbo LCDA as a progressive hub where governance meets opportunity, and where deliberate investment in human capital remains a top priority
