True service begins with how we see.
When we look at others through eyes of love, we stop asking, “What can I gain?” and start asking, “How can I serve?”
* In friendships, it means seeing a friend’s struggle and choosing to stand beside them, not above them.
* In marriage, it means looking at your spouse not as competition but as a companion whose joy and peace become your own.
* In relationships, it means seeing past flaws to the heart that long to be understood and valued.
* In our communities, it means noticing those often overlooked — the weary, the broken, the silent — and letting our compassion become action.
When our eyes are trained to see others as God sees them, service becomes a natural response, not a burden. Love opens our vision; service strengthens our bond.
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humilit, value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” Philippians 2:3–4.
