It is alleged that the immediate past Senate President has been arrested and detained by operatives of the anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). According to our source, the distinguished Senator Bukola Saraki will be detained to allow you to questioning on matters relating to his financial dealings over a period of time.

Our sources also reveal that EFCC The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is probing the former Senator over his alleged misappropriation of public funds and money laundering cases.

From the information made available, Senator Bukola Saraki arrived the EFCC office  around 2pm on July 30, 2021 for an interrogation that is still presently underway. There are no indications that the former Kwara Governor will be leaving the EFCC office tonight confirms our sources.

This development is coming barely three days after former Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko Al-Makura and his wife, Mairo, were questioned by the EFCC over breach of public trust and misappropriation of billions of naira by his administration.
