A tragic accident almost claimed the life of a drunk man at Apapa Oshodi Express way under Ilasa Overpass

The drunk man was hit by a speeding car while he was crossing the road instead of using the pedestrian bridge.

Witnesses who had known the man from somewhere said that “he was a chronic drunkard who loves gin a lot”.

“This man was just sitting at the other end of the road just now”, someone said.

A good Samaritan tried to help him but on lookers yelled at him not to touch the man to avoid false accusation on himself.

The accident victim who was said to be a conductor has managed to have air to breathe as he was unconscious and shivering on the ground.
