Dr. Obafemi Hamzat continued his consultation series on April 25, 2026, with visits to Tokunbo Abiru and Wale Edun, engaging in discussions focused on the future of Lagos State.
The meetings formed part of his ongoing efforts to consult widely with key stakeholders on the direction of governance and development in Lagos. During the engagements, Dr. Hamzat held frank and constructive conversations on the current realities facing the state and the practical steps required to address them.

He highlighted Lagos’ strategic importance to Nigeria’s overall growth, describing the state as central to the country’s future. The discussions, he noted, were grounded in a shared commitment to advancing policies that are inclusive, realistic, and capable of delivering sustainable progress.
The April 25 consultations underscore a broader initiative aimed at building consensus and gathering insights from influential leaders, as Dr. Hamzat continues to position collaborative engagement as a key approach to shaping Lagos’ development trajectory.
