Residents and commuters using the Lafenwa-Dauda ILO-Jubril Olabisi stretch of road that has for years been delapidated and impassable are today in celebration mood. This is because the promise by the Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Honourable Monsuru Obe to fix the road and ensure that it is permanently transformed is being fulfilled. And residents of the street are obviously happy about this promise fulfilled.

When our correspondent went round the community this afternoon to sample opinions, everyone interviewed had words of praise for the hardworking Chairman.

“I’m sure this man will be re-elected,” says John Ezeh, a resident. ” When you live up to your promises the people will not forget you. Kudos to our amiable Chairman, Obe.”

Another resident, Mr. Abdullahi Dauda believes Monsuru Obe has warmed himself to the heart of Ejigbo residents. “He is a good man. I only wish he would see this road to its logical conclusion. We will all stand by him.”
