The Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation has introduced a new consumer credit initiative that allows Nigerians to book domestic flights and pay for them in instalments.
The scheme, tagged “Fly Now, Pay Later,” is aimed at making air travel within the country more accessible by removing the burden of upfront payment.
In a statement released on Tuesday via its official X handle, the corporation said the initiative enables eligible customers to secure flight bookings immediately and spread the cost over a period through structured financing.
According to the statement, the programme is being implemented in partnership with Visaro.ng and Alert Microfinance Bank.
The corporation explained that the initiative is designed to address financial barriers that often prevent Nigerians from making important trips, offering a more flexible payment option for travelers.
It added that the move aligns with its broader goal of expanding responsible consumer credit and improving the quality of life for Nigerians.
The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to providing innovative financial solutions that support everyday needs, including access to local air travel.
