We are the new ancestors the ones future generations will remember not just for what we achieved but for how we loved, built, and believed. We are laying the foundation upon which others will stand. Every word we speak, every act of kindness, every choice to forgive instead of fight, these become the bricks of legacy that endurance.
* In marriage, let us build homes where peace is the loudest voice.
* In the community, let us sow unity where division once grew.
* In friendship, let us embody grace and truth.
Just as Abraham was called to leave behind the familiar and become the father of many nations (Genesis 12:1-3), so are we called to step into a new kind of ancestry one defined not by bloodline alone, but by faith, integrity, and love. We are not merely inheriting the past. We are *reshaping* the future. Proverbs 13:22 “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children.”
That inheritance is not just wealth. It’s wisdom, faith, and example. Let us become the kind of ancestors our descendants will thank God for.
Try and build a good legacy in life.
