The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group (BAT-IG) has appointed Mr Lukman Olawale Fagbemi, SAN, as its new Legal Adviser.
The appointment was announced in Abuja by the Convener of the group, Comrade Bamidele Atoyebi, who described Fagbemi as a seasoned and highly respected legal practitioner whose wealth of experience would significantly strengthen the organisation.
According to Atoyebi, the appointment forms part of ongoing efforts to reinforce BAT-IG’s institutional framework and further promote the progressive political ideology of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across the country.
In his acceptance remarks, Fagbemi expressed appreciation to the leadership of the group for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to provide sound legal guidance and support while upholding the ideals and philosophy of President Tinubu.
BAT-IG has remained active in recent times across several states, including Yobe, Ebonyi, Kano, Borno, Sokoto, Kwara, Kogi, Abuja, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti and Lagos. The group continues to implement programmes focused on political education, civic engagement and the promotion of progressive governance.
The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to ideology-driven leadership and national development, noting that BAT-IG is an ideological movement founded on belief in the political vision, values and strategies of President Tinubu.
It also stated that the group remains committed to Nigeria’s image branding, political education, conflict resolution, policy advocacy and the grooming of future leaders who embody the political spirit, ideology and values of President Tinubu, while countering misinformation and misrepresentation in the public space.
