The family of late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has announced arrangements for her burial, scheduled to take place on Friday, January 9, 2026.
The burial plans were made public by her cousin and fellow actor, Muyiwa Ademola, through a statement shared online. According to the announcement, a Service of Songs will hold on Thursday, January 8, followed by a candlelight procession.
The burial ceremony is slated for Friday at the Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos.
The family also released a dress code for the events. Guests attending the Service of Songs will be provided with customised T-shirts at the venue, while attendees at the burial are expected to wear white shirts and jeans. The family emphasised that the official colour code for the burial is white.
“The burial arrangement for Princess Allwell Ademola. Note: On Thursday, a customised T-shirt will be provided at the venue. While on Friday for the burial, you can come wearing a white shirt with jeans. Colour code is white,” the statement read in part.
Allwell Ademola, aged 49, died on December 27, 2025, after reportedly suffering a heart attack at her residence, according to earlier reports by TVC News. Her death was confirmed by several colleagues in the Nollywood industry, who paid tributes to her on social media.
The family expressed gratitude for the prayers, condolences and support received from friends, colleagues and well-wishers, while praying for the peaceful repose of her soul.
