The Renewed Hope Initiative of the First Lady of Nigeria Sen. Oluremi Tinubu is making great impact all over the nation. Recently, she launched the RHI 2025 Women Empowerment in Lagos State; a project she had begun to carry out all over the nation.
This women empowerment and Enterprise Development programme is billed to empower 500 women and Persons Living With Disabilities in each State of the Federation. But for Lagos, the number is 1,000. This makes a total of 18,500 women that will benefit from the programmme nationwide.
Back to Lagos, the selected beneficiaries from Agboyi-Ketu LCDA were received at the Untra-modern Council Headquarters by the Chairman; Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar. The beneficiaries of the RHI empowerment scheme had conveyed their equipment to the Council Headquarters to show their appreciation to the Chairman for the opportunity of being selected for the empowerment programme.

The beneficiaries were gifted with viable commercial equipment and appliances such as Generators, Refrigerators and Grinding Machines.
While receiving the beneficiaries, the Chairman congratulated them for being the lucky beneficiaries of the First Lady’s freebies. The Vice Chairman; Hon. Yomi Ganiu exhorted them to make optimal use of the equipment they have received and ensure commercial value, using this opportunity to make a living for themselves.
