As you clock 75 today, Mum, I must confess that your wisdom, gentility, humility and quiet strength are qualities that can only be divinely orchestrated.
Sometimes I look at you and wonder how one woman could carry so much grace, patience and love so effortlessly. Baba Esho carry eye go market the day he decided to make you his better half! Honestly, Mum, I could not have wished for a better mother.
Baba Esho, an Omoluabi man to the core, never misses an opportunity to remind me to imbibe your virtues. He constantly points me in your direction, urging me to learn from your wisdom, your humility, your compassion and the way you treat people.
You have not only been a mother to us, your biological children; you have been a mother to countless people who passed through our home while we were growing up. You opened your doors, your heart and your arms to them. You made people feel they belonged. Your accommodating spirit, your generosity of heart and your instinctive motherly nature have touched lives in ways you may never fully know.
You never needed a loud voice to command respect. Your gentleness speaks for you. You never needed to demand love. Your kindness naturally draws people to you. And you never needed a title to be a mother to many.
You simply became one.
Mum, your life is a testimony to the beauty of quiet strength. You have nurtured, encouraged, sacrificed, prayed, supported and loved—often without seeking recognition or applause.
At 75, you are more than a mother to us. You are a repository of wisdom, a pillar of our family, a woman of uncommon grace and a blessing whose value cannot be measured.
Today, I celebrate not just your age, but the beautiful legacy you have built through the lives you have touched.
*Simply put, Mum, you are a MOTHER IN ISRAEL.*
May God preserve you in sound health, renew your strength, fill your remaining years with peace and joy, and allow you to enjoy the beautiful fruits of all the lives you have nurtured.
Happy 75th Birthday, our beloved Mum.
