In a video that has gone viral on the internet, the first daughter of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti (Afrobeat legend), Yeni Kuti, was seen practically showing young dancers what it means to move their bodies on the stage. Yeni, 60, who is a grandmother and hubby to celebrity Architect, Theo Lawson is both a veteran dancer and an on-air personality.
A retired dancer, Yeni Kuti,perhaps in the spirit of her father’s 24th year remembrance took to the stage at the New Afrikan Shrine, where she showed the young dancers who watched her closely as she digged it down frantically but professionally.
