Information reaching us is that the popular Nollywood actress, Rachael Oniga is dead. The Veteran of stage and screen productions is one who made her debut in 1993 after she featured in the Yoruba movie, Owo Blow and Onome respectively. The Delta-born actress has featured in both English and Yoruba movies, and soon became the favourite of many of her fans and admirers.
The 64-year-old actress has featured in such notable movies such as Sango, Passion of Mind, Power of Sin, Doctor Bello, 30 days in Atlanta, The Wedding Party, The Royal Hibiscus Hotel to mention but a few. Her contributions to the growth of the film industry is immeasurable.
As at the time of this sad announcement, the cause of her death remains unknown.
