The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, has inaugurated the campaign executives of the Tinubu Torch Bearers (Women’s Wing), Onigbongbo Chapter. He charged them to intensify grassroots mobilisation and engage women, youths and residents ahead of the forthcoming elections.

In her opening remarks, the Chairperson, Mrs. Wunmi Adebanjo, represented by the wife of the Vice-Chairman, Alhaja Adebimpe Oloyede, urged the newly inaugurated executives to take their responsibilities seriously by actively engaging young people across the community, particularly those yet to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs), and encouraging greater participation in the democratic process.

The LGA Party Woman Leader, Mrs. Bola Balogun, expressed appreciation to the Chairman for his support and confidence in the women and commended him for recognising their capacity and making time to participate in the inauguration. She assured the Chairman of the women’s commitment to the success of the party and its candidates.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo charged the campaign executives to become effective grassroots ambassadors of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly by communicating government policies, programmes and interventions that directly impact Nigerians, with emphasis on students, youths and other beneficiaries.
The Chairman stressed that their responsibility goes beyond political mobilisation, urging them to prioritise meaningful engagement, effective communication, voter education and community outreach in order to bridge the gap between government and the people at the grassroots.
He further charged the executives to work collectively towards the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all candidates of the party in the forthcoming elections.
