The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, has demonstrated his appreciation for the dedication and commitment of environmental sweepers in keeping the Council and its environs clean and environmentally healthy.
As part of efforts to recognise their invaluable contribution to the cleanliness and aesthetics of Onigbongbo LCDA, the Chairman presented new clothes and cash gifts to the sweepers as a token of appreciation for their daily service to the community.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo commended the sweepers for their resilience, sacrifice and commitment to maintaining a clean environment, noting that their work, though often carried out quietly and behind the scenes, remains critical to the well-being and quality of life of residents.
He further encouraged the sweepers to continue carrying out their duties with dedication, professionalism and pride, assuring them that their contributions are valued by the administration and appreciated by the people of the Council.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Chairman for the thoughtful gesture, describing it as a morale booster and a demonstration of his people-centred leadership
