The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, delivered a compelling message at the Scar2Shine Conference held at Radisson Blu, GRA, Ikeja and urged the youths to embrace active political participation beginning from the grassroots level.

As a featured panelist at the highly impactful event, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo charged young Nigerians to recognize that meaningful political transformation starts not at the federal level, but within their immediate communities, streets, and neighborhoods.

He emphasized that true national progress can only be achieved when youths intentionally engage in local governance and decision-making processes.

During his address, the Chairman enlightened participants on the critical need to understand and actively participate in local politics by identifying and addressing the unique needs of their immediate communities.
He also urged them to join the political system rather than remain passive observers for the representation of the ideas and innovative ideas that shape the future.
He also told them to redirect attention from fleeting social media trends toward governance-focused conversations and actions that shape the nation’s future.
Speaking from his own experience as a young leader in government, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo shared key milestones from his administration’s progress in Onigbongbo LCDA.
Despite spending less than one year in office, he highlighted several transformative and impactful projects already delivered under his leadership, showcasing the remarkable results that youthful, progressive governance can achieve.
