Popular Nigerian comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, widely known as Seyi Law, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a driving force behind significant economic and political transformation in Nigeria.
Speaking at Eagle Square during the national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the entertainer commended the administration’s performance across key sectors.
Seyi Law highlighted improvements in foreign reserves, the removal of fuel subsidy, and reforms in the foreign exchange market as major achievements of the current government. He described the removal of fuel subsidy on inauguration day as a bold move against systemic corruption, noting that it helped stabilise the country’s finances.
He also praised the administration’s decision to float and unify the foreign exchange market, stating that it has reduced disparities between official and parallel market rates.
On education, the comedian pointed to the introduction of the student loan scheme and improved relations between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), which he said resulted in minimal disruption to the academic calendar.
He further noted that nearly one million students are benefiting from loans provided through the NELFUND initiative, alongside monthly stipends, while also highlighting efforts to expand vocational training through tuition-free technical colleges.
Seyi Law also cited ongoing infrastructure development projects, including major highway constructions and rehabilitations linking key economic corridors across the country.
According to him, these initiatives reflect the administration’s commitment to long-term national development and economic growth.
The remarks formed part of activities at the APC convention, where party leaders and supporters gathered to review progress and outline future strategies.
