CELEBRATING THE CAPTAIN: HON. MOYOSORE ADEBANJO @ 37
Proverbs 12:24A states, “The hand of the diligent will rule.” This biblical verse is the true reflection of Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo of Onigbongbo LCDA, who clocks 37 today.
Without any iota of doubt, the 37th birthday of Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo is worth celebrating, considering how he has made meaningful impacts within the few days/months he has been in office as the Mayor of Onigbongbo.
Hon. Moyosore who is the youngest chairman as of now, has had the zeal to drive change around his community as a constant thing on his mind. Despite the odds for the past 8 years he never gave up rather, he remained focused on his dream, and by that, he has brought A NEW DAWN TO ONIGBONGBO and it is very evident.
As a man who believes in putting smiles on the faces of others (the aged, the youths, and the teenagers) he’s passionate and empathetic towards people around him.
His emergence as the Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA was historic, having won with a total vote of 14,320; a landmark win in Onigbongbo LCDA elections, considering the support that heralded his emergence as the standard flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the party’s primaries.
As a man who has played an active role in the growth and development of this great council, in line with his ‘F.I.N.E AGENDA’, Hon. Moyosore didn’t disappoint the good people of Onigbongbo immediately he took over the mantle of leadership. Knowing the various challenges facing the LGA, Hon. Moyosore’s administration, started working with a four-pillar policy agenda tagged F.I.N.E. F.I.N.E stands for; Foster Economic Growth; Invest in the People; Nurture Ideas and Enterprise; Ensure Well-Being.
Within his first 1 month in office, the Olusosun Decade-long water challenge was finally addressed. Putting the aged people in Onigbongbo first; he launched a free health insurance scheme for the aged (60 & above). He facilitated CNG tricycles for Onigbongbo residents. In the issues of security, he built a healthy working relationship with the 9 Brigade Command of the Nigerian Army, Ikeja Cantonment. He immediately approved the Employment of an Onigbongbo resident, who has been doing menial jobs to sustain her kids, and her visually impaired husband. In addition, he has a strong working relationship with the private sector and private investors.
As he celebrates a major milestone, I wish him the fulfillment of his heart’s desires for the good people of Onigbongbo.
Happy Birthday, My Capacity Chairman!
